Formed by the merger of 3 other metro teams in 1979.
Offers age-appropriate swim training programs for kids ages 6-18.
Offers multiple practice locations in St. Louis Park and Wayzata, with additional outdoor summer locations in New Hope and Medina.
Approximately 100 swimmers in 4 different training groups (based on age and ability).
A strong history of producing state champions in both short and long course seasons since 1984.
Claimed freestyle and medley national relay records (Boys 17-18) and 50 Breaststroke record (Girls 10 and Under) in 1992.
Team members have broken over 50 state short course and 40 state long course records.
In the last 5 years, 3 team swimmers have earned spots on the University of MN swim team; many other swimmers have claimed spots on Division II and Division III collegiate swim teams.
Many team members were among the top state swimmers at both the Girls’ and Boys’ High School State Championships in the 2006-07 school year.
Team has co-sponsored swim clinics with former US Olympic team captain Josh Davis, and 2004 Olympic swimmers Aaron Piersol, Brendan Hanson and Kaitlin Sandeno.
